As I intended to leave straight and square lines, I thought beginning with the legs. The first pattern remembered too much curves - dog curves - I thought. I went on for a further model - the left in the picture.
The first leg being bandsawn, it needed lots of rasping, filing and machine sanding. Yes, you understood right corded sanding. Spokeshaves failed, the work piece was to thick. More to come one of these...
