I know, one should call them posts, not legs, but I like the idea of legs more... Yesterday time passed by, planing, gluing, bandsawing and smoothing again those walnut blocks - I won't tell you what book I'm reading nor the music I'm listening too. I reached for harmony in the grain pattern. Man, if one leg will fail, I will have trouble finding ersatz. For an invisible glue line I chose to plane a slight hollow on two opponent glue faces, like David C teaches. I photographed the steps once here in English and once here in German. The result is quite good, now on for the pattern. There is sapwood to cut off...Mittwoch, 17. Februar 2010
