Yesterday we had a storm over here in Luxembourg. I had one victim - my locust tree (Robinia pseudoacacia). Chances were high it would damage the neighbour's barn roof. Actually the trunk inclined dramatically and drifted. The rootstalk came up. So during this breezy moment, the local fire brigade felled it. Sniff, I had it for my twenty fifth from my brother and it was witness of so many magnificent and not so magnificent moments of my life. Thought these tree tips would survive me. Now what to do with the wood? Sigh nearby.
